Like all living things, pollinators need water! You can help support pollinators by putting out small water dishes in your garden.

All you need is a shallow dish, some rocks, corks, marbles, or other items for the pollinators to land on, and some water! Placing rocks in bird baths is also a great option!

It’s important to clean your water dish regularly to prevent mosquito larvae from developing in the water.

Some male butterflies need minerals to help them produce the pheromones needed to attract a mate. You can add landscape sand, compost and dirt to help provide those minerals.
