Here are some local Cincinnati nurseries and landscpaers we love and trust. This list is constantly updated as we learn more about the nurseries and the plants they sell. If you want to be added to this list, email us at plantaseed@qcpp.org
Where To Find Plants
There are many great places to find plants and seeds for your pollinator garden! Some things to remember:
1) Include native plants in your garden. Native plants evolved along with the native pollinators, and the pollinators rely on them as the best source of protection and food resources.
2) Most big box stores and some local nurseries use systemic pesticides in their seeds and plants or spray their plants. Avoid big box stores/national stores, and be sure to ask your local nurseries if the plants and seeds are free of pesticides during the growing process. You can look for some to advertise that they are neonicitinoid free.
