Sponsor a hive or garden and promote a healthier environment.
When you donate or sponsor a garden or a hive you are creating pollinator-sustaining environments for the bees, butterflies, wasps, flies, and other insects that are crucial to our survival! Every pollinator way station supports a diverse ecosystem whether it’s in a flower pot or a water dish or an entire landscape.
North America is home to 4,000 species of native bees. Without these native bees, our trees, flowers, vegetables, and fruits wouldn’t grow. Our lives depend on their health. We can help protect them by providing healthy food sources for them, like nectar plants that have never been sprayed with insecticides. And even better, planting native plants. QCPP is dedicated to getting more native bees and pollinators in general into our community. You could help us with that project.

Annual Sponsorship Packages
Hive Sponsor - $2500 per location for 2 complete honeybee hive setups
This package includes the equipment needed to get started and install two complete 4-box hives for honeybees (10,000 bees and a queen for each hive)*, weekly monitoring, and support for the bees as they work to get established and build their colony.
And, a one-hour education program for your employees, family members, or another group on how to care for the pollinators in your area. We also provide photos of your bees with suggestions and information for your social media and as a perk to engage your staff in being a good steward. While we can’t guarantee your bees will survive or even provide honey because after all, it’s nature; we can guarantee a lot of fun and a feeling of connection to your community.
Hive Maintenance Sponsor - (see above package) $1700 per established hive location
This is the follow-up package for established hives. At $1700 per location, this package includes any additional equipment needed to keep your hives going for another year. This might include a new box of bees and/or a new queen (if your hive(s) don’t survive the winter, for instance) and maintenance of those hives for another year.
*The sponsor must pay all local licensing/zoning fees, but QCPP will work with the local officials to make sure everything meets zoning and local regulations. QCPP will pay the state apiary fees as the owner of the hives and equipment, including the bees. We will also provide some honey to the sponsor when the hives’ needs are clearly met. This is not likely until after being established for the first year to ensure hive survival through the winter.
Native Hive Garden Sponsor - $575 - for one location
This package is all about creating a fabulous environment for native bees, butterflies, and chrysalis building habitat with at least one water source and a variety of pollinator-friendly plants. With this package, we will come to your location either in-person or through video, and you’ll get a presentation on the value of pollinators and some ideas that are specific to your space, including the types of containers for the garden, the plants that will work there, and where to source the plants for building on, if you want to continue. For an additional fee, we can plant the garden for you and monitor it monthly during the growing season, supporting your crew as they maintain it.

Depending on the scale of the garden, we can come to your space and advise you on how to build a pollinator-friendly garden in nearly any environment.
